I began photography with a little Kodak Pocket 110 (anyone remember those?) I have extended, refined and improved my photography skills since then and have completed numerous training workshops and seminars by renowned and master photographers such as David A. Ziser, Kevin Kubota, Pete Turner, and Ed Pierce to name a few. (I know - I'm name-dropping...)
Some of my landscape photography is on display at the corporate headquarters of Afni, Inc. in Illinois. Other landscape photography of mine has received mention in National Geographic, Denver magazine, and Honolulu magazine.
WHY CHOOSE ME?
You have the right to have professional photographs taken that meet your desires. I can do that for you.
I have professionally shot weddings, portraits, company events, parties, landscapes, and industrial photos. I truly appreciate the opportunity to document your event or photograph your portrait. If you have only experienced other photographers, then you will be very pleased by hiring me! I know you have a lot of choices when it comes to photographers. And a lot of price ranges.
Over the last couple of decades, I have shot weddings in Colorado, Nebraska, Hawaii, Arizona, and in Texas.
ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE . . .
My shooting style leans toward "photojournalistic" ... but I prefer to call it "Lifestyle Photography." This style works extremely well - especially with weddings or events as I create images to tell a story resulting in candid and posed images that chronicle the events of the day as they unfold. And of course, I still take those time-honored "formal" or posed shots too.
In my role as a documenter, I capture the myriad of moments that occur on the wedding day. I’ve always had the ability to be an interested observer looking in from the outside in. I prefer the photojournalistic, lifestyle type of photography, where people aren't necessarily aware that their photo is being taken. (Would you believe I heard about a wedding where the photographer actually blew a whistle at people to get their attention? Wow . . . not my style!) It's also very easy for me to switch to the more formal style of photography to capture great poses or portraits. Getting photos taken, whether it be portraits or your wedding, should be fun. And classy. And stylish. And did I mention fun?
With my company, I don't believe in making anyone buy "packages" of photos - you buy only the ones you want to keep or give as gifts. Nobody should have to purchase a "one size fits all" package. After all, the photographs are for YOU!
(And besides, my prices are very reasonable because you aren't paying for the excessive overhead on a fancy studio - which I don't have, or on a fancy website - as you can see....)
A LITTLE ABOUT ME PERSONALLY . . .
I am married, have 3 kids (who are out of the house now,) own a home in the mid-cities area so it's convenient to anywhere in the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex, and I own a Jack Russell Terrier (who is in and out of the house depending on her whim.)
